Welcome to Rice Broker. By working with our team for escrow-secured rice trading, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Overview
Rice Broker is a team of experienced rice trading professionals that connects buyers and sellers, providing escrow-secured transaction services to eliminate credit risk and ensure payment protection.
Our Core Services:
- Personally connecting verified rice buyers and sellers
- Holding funds in secure escrow until delivery is confirmed
- Facilitating transparent and documented transactions
- Providing hands-on dispute resolution support
Note: Rice Broker acts as an intermediary and escrow service provider. We do not own, sell, or trade rice inventory.
2. Escrow Service Terms
2.1 How Escrow Works
When a transaction is initiated on Rice Broker:
- Buyer and seller agree on transaction terms (price, quantity, quality specifications, delivery timeline)
- Buyer places funds in our secure escrow account
- Seller ships rice to the buyer as agreed
- Buyer receives and verifies the rice meets agreed specifications
- Upon buyer confirmation, funds are released to seller
2.2 Fund Security
All escrow funds are held in segregated bank accounts and cannot be accessed by Rice Broker for operational purposes. Funds are released only when both parties fulfill their obligations or as determined by dispute resolution.
2.3 Delivery Confirmation
Buyers have a specified inspection period (as agreed in the transaction) to verify rice quality and quantity. Failure to reject within this period constitutes acceptance and triggers payment release.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Buyers Must:
- Provide accurate delivery and payment information
- Place sufficient funds in escrow before shipment
- Inspect rice within the agreed timeframe
- Communicate any quality issues promptly
- Confirm delivery or raise disputes in good faith
3.2 Sellers Must:
- Provide accurate rice specifications and availability
- Ship rice that meets agreed quality standards
- Deliver within the agreed timeline
- Provide proper documentation (invoices, quality certificates)
- Maintain proper business licenses and comply with regulations
3.3 Both Parties Must:
- Act in good faith throughout the transaction
- Provide truthful and accurate information
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Communicate professionally and promptly
- Respect the escrow process and service guidelines
4. Fees & Payments
Rice Broker charges a service fee for escrow and transaction facilitation. Fees may be structured as:
- Percentage of transaction value (typically 1-3% depending on transaction size)
- Fixed fee for smaller transactions
- Custom pricing for large or recurring transactions
Fee Responsibility:
Fees can be paid by buyer, seller, or split between both parties as agreed before the transaction begins. Fees are only charged when a transaction completes successfully.
No Hidden Charges:
All fees are disclosed upfront. There are no hidden charges or surprise fees.
5. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises regarding quality, quantity, or delivery, Rice Broker will facilitate resolution through:
- Direct Negotiation: Parties attempt to resolve the issue directly with Rice Broker mediation
- Third-Party Inspection: Independent quality assessment if needed (costs shared by both parties)
- Arbitration: Binding decision by Rice Broker based on evidence, contracts, and industry standards
During disputes, escrow funds remain held until resolution. Rice Broker's decision in arbitration is final and binding.
6. Limitation of Liability
Rice Broker does NOT guarantee:
- The quality, quantity, or condition of rice traded through our services
- The successful completion of any transaction
- The identity or creditworthiness of users beyond our verification process
- Protection against market price fluctuations

Maximum Liability: In any event, Rice Broker's total liability is limited to the escrow service fees paid for that specific transaction.
